Jeri Johnson, Head Pastor

Pastor Jeri Johnson was born in Martins Ferry Ohio, the 3rd of 5 daughters. Her parents moved to Canton, Ohio when she was about 6 months old. They joined a church and had Jeri baptized on Palm Sunday.
She met her husband Gary in her senior year at Canton McKinley High School at Barnhill’s Ice Cream Parlor where they both worked. They married the following year in 1971 and welcomed their first child, Kathryn in 1974 and in 1977 their son Kristofer.
When Kristofer went off to first grade, his momma worked as a volunteer aide with behavior challenged elementary students, then as a teacher aide with multi-handicapped high school vocational students, She continues to volunteer as a Sunday School teacher and with the youth group and began leading youth as well as adult Bible Studies.
When her children went off to college, Jeri did as well, attending Mount Union College and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Sociology/Psychology. She worked in the non-profit world for nine years when God called her to become a UMC Licensed Local Pastor- beginning with a 3-point charge, Werner Church, Crystal Park and North Industry UMC’s. She served at North Industry for a total of 16 years and retired in 2024. During that time, she served on the Conference FAMLP (Fellowship of Associate Members and Local Pastors) and became Chair in 2019 and she continues to serve in that position.
In 2025, God told her she wasn’t finished and she was reappointed to the Trinity Cooperatve Parish consisting of Greentown UMC and Uniontown UMC.
In her spare time she enjoys reading historical based fiction and romantic Christian novels, as well as sewing and quilting when time permits – however she found that she prefers designing the quilt, picking the pattern and fabric than actually completing the quilt! Rumor has it she possesses many UFO’s (UnFinished Objects)

Pastor Anne Fisher- Pastor of Visitation
In 1990, Pastor Anne was called into pastoral ministry after being a public school teacher, an organization development consultant, a restaurant dining room manager and office manager, and a real estate office manager and closing secretary. She began serving as a full-time licensed local pastor in 1991. She served Poe and Waltz (Medina), Moore Memorial (Barberton), Kenmore (Akron), and Clearview/Canal District Associate.
After fully retiring at the end of 2013, she remained at Clearview as a lay member who was active in administrative tasks, Sew Inspired for Missions, choir, and United Women in Faith.
Being retired “for good,” Anne was surprised to be called back into part-time ministry in the spring of 2024. Anne is assigned to the Trinity Cooperative Parish to serve as 1/4-time visitation pastor as of July 1.
Anne’s household includes her sister Lisa, with Midgie, Scrapper, and Hurley (3 black cats that “are affectionate and make us laugh.”)
Anne has been blessed with interesting conversations and visits with the people of the Uniontown and Greentown UMCs. She looks forward to more of the same.
She is now serving and visiting with those church members in their homes, hospitals or rehab facilities to provide spiritual encouragement and demonstrate Christ’s love.
Facilitator of Spiritual Formation
Doris Feddersen
I have always been seeking God since I was a child and have been involved with the church since my youth in about every task where the church had need for volunteers. These included teaching adults and children, serving on committees and in committee chairmanships, serving in various capacities in women’s associations, being an elder in the Presbyterian church, and a certified lay speaker in in the United Methodist Church. I have preached in churches in New York and Ohio. In 2020 I began a master’s level program in Spiritual Direction and am now a certified spiritual director. I continue to take classes led by internationally known church leaders and spiritual directors.
At this point in my life, I am not so focused on theology and knowing the Bible as I am on being aware of God’s continually active spirit alive in my life and the lives of those around me. I want to be led by God’s spirit in what I do and how I live my life. I am a FACILITATOR of spiritual formation, and not a direcot, because only God and you can direct the process of your own knowing God more fully. I am humbled that you have trusted me with this position. Thank you for the opportunity to share this new and exciting experience.
Blessings, Doris Feddersen
