UMCU Church Choir

The UMCU Church Choir meets Thursday evenings to practice and performs during Sunday Worship service occasionally, and more during the holidays. Led by Steven Tharp, the choir sings praise songs ranging from traditional classics to contemporary favorites.

UMCU Bell Choir

The Bell Choir meets Sunday mornings at 11:15am after service for one hour. Join us if you read music and would like to learn to play bells or have Bell Choir experience.

UMCU Instrumental Ensemble

Led by Jack Stanford, the instrumental ensemble is made of up music lovers who just enjoy playing together. The ensemble has remained in tact over many decades, starting with Jack’s father. Today, the ensemble consists of mostly brass instruments.

UMCU Concert Series

Started in 2022, Music Director Steven Tharp, Jr. began what is now a community staple of great music; great fellowship; and great food! The concert series brings in choirs, barbershop quartets, violinists, harpists and more! There is something for everyone. The concerts are free to attend, but a goodwill offering will be accepted; concerts begin at 4:00. Please contact the church office for more information at 330-699-3587.
